About - Armoury Bar

Armoury Bar was built with years of experience in the service industry and endless hours with all forms of gaming. From fighting Bowser as children to defeating Sephiroth as teens, traversing Tamriel now: We have a deep love for board games that we cannot wait to share with you!

Armoury Bar’s collection of games started with our personal collection. We moved here from the United States with our adorable dog and suitcases full of games with the dream of opening this bar as soon as we arrived. Since then we’ve worked to build our collection, learning more games than we ever imagined before! We cannot wait to start building a community for gamers to connect, play, and explore the world of gaming!

Our food and drink menu has been curated from a love of history, nerd culture, and quality cuisine. We created our menu using old-fashioned recipes made for centuries and hand-crafted for an authentic experience. Our cocktails were formulated with an extensive knowledge of mixology and the dream of seeing our favourite potions and concoctions come to life!

We’ve been involved in the service industry for over 15 years. We both began bartending throughout college where it formed into a full career. John has bartended events and clubs across the United States; his experience includes ComicCon in San Diego, SxSW in Austin, the Superbowl in Dallas, and other popular bars in Colorado and California.

Our incredible board game collection would not be possible without the help of our amazing friends and neighbors, Friends & Foes. This incredible game store has an enormous collection of games with a passionate staff that seems to know everything.
