Code of Conduct for Epic Events

What to Expect

Our TTRPG community is dedicated to inclusiveness in all of our interactions. Players and DMs are expected to demonstrate respect for all player types, experiences, and approaches.

  • We will respect any person’s pronouns and gender; if unsure please ask their pronouns in a polite manner.
  • If a new player is interested in joining, we will take the time to either integrate them into an ongoing game or kindly direct them to a game that is accepting new players.
  • Offer guidance, patience, and willingness to teach all players.
  • Be kind & respectful of others.
  • Be honest, truthful, and compromise with loot, rolls, etc.
  • Respect the Dungeon Master and bring any issues to the organizer
  • Respect and take care of any maps, minis, cards, etc. borrowed

What is Unacceptable

While TTRPGs encourage creative expression and communication, certain types of speech will not be welcome. Armoury Bar does not accept any forms of harassment, including but not limited to: hate speech, sexual assault, stalking, online harassment, and unwarranted violence.

  • DMs are encouraged to address concerns with triggers or unacceptable topics at the beginning of each game.
  • Respect the decisions and opinions of our barmen & maidens
  • Players that feel uncomfortable, or unwilling to discuss these issues should approach the event coordinator directly.
  • Theft/damage is not tolerated
  • No gambling allowed
  • Not responsible for lost/stolen items
  • We use camera surveillance

Those committing intentional or repeated violations, individuals will be asked to leave and/or barred from attending future events. While we will typically give warnings before taking such steps, we reserve the right to escalate to removal if warranted.  Armoury Bar upholds all social hygiene rules in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands.

How to Report

Physical and verbal harassment is completely NOT tolerated. Harassment is any unwanted behavior that humiliates, intimidates, or offends a person and that is directed at a person because of sex, race, disability, age, or any other distinguishing factor. The intention is not relevant.  Any participant accused of harassment will be dealt with be the staff and organizer directly.  Any person concerned with harassment can speak to the following staff members that will be on-site for events:

  • Victoria Winfrey – Owner and Event Organizer
  • Ellen & Mac- Staff On-Site

Armoury Bar is committed to creating a safe environment and protecting confidentiality.  Information reported will ONLY be disclosed to those people who need to know it, i.e. staff and organizers. All information is limited to the amount that is necessary for decision-making. This policy covers all reports, anonymous or not.
